What is Perceptor IoT?

Perceptor IoT is a real-time label inspection and verification system for thermal transfer printers.

It automatically detects:

  • Print blemishes and print quality defects
  • Incorrect or non-compliant labels
  • Duplicate labels
  • Barcode and 1D/2D code quality issues
  • Data and batch information discrepancies

Perceptor IoT can be retrofitted to compatible existing printers, helping manufacturers introduce automated label inspection without replacing their existing printing infrastructure.

Booklet label media

The Booklet Printing Media Sensor kit has been designed specifically with Pharmaceutical and Clinical Life Trial customers in mind - but any product which requires complex instructions, legal text and patient information applied in booklet label format benefits from the real-time inspection and verification Perceptor IoT delivers.

The kit can be easily retro-fitted to existing thermal transfer printers using a booklet printing system to provide a complete automated booklet label print process which detects non-compliant labels, print blemishes and duplicates in real-time without manual checks.
