US English is the primary language across Perceptor IoT and the user interface. The following languages will be made available in the forthcoming v.2.8 release of Perceptor IoT:
Access to the Licence Server account must be restricted to authorised personnel only as it controls the allocation, revocation and purchase of licences.
It is hosted in a different location from the Perceptor IoT application environment, uses distinct log in credentials and does not use SSO.
When signing in for the first time, users are forced to replace the temporary password with a new one.
The Licence Server URL and log in must not be linked to the End User's Entra ID tenancy.
Perceptor requires Windows login and authentication for security and traceability. It also removes the possibility of generic password use or shared passwords amongst users.
Every action made by the user is captured and can be reported on in Perceptor.
The Audit Trail captures all actions - from label design changes, label approval and running a batch to camera calibration and changes made in User Management.
It is an integral and critical function of Perceptor to identify who is logged in at any time and what actions they have taken.
As Perceptor is integrated with your organization's Entra ID, the log in step also ensures that the organization's password and security policies are applied. In addition, when using this integration it ensures any Perceptor user cannot login if their Entra ID account has been disabled and removes them if they have been removed from the Perceptor Users' Group in your Entra ID.

On the Licensing Portal home page - https://licence.perceptor-cloud.com/ - navigate to the blue 'Sign in' button. Immediately below that button is the link 'Forgot password?' in blue text.
Click on that link and follow the instructions to re-set your password.
Users are added to a Users Group in Entra ID.
The Entra ID can be customer’s own (preferred) or the Perceptor Cloud Entra ID.
See this support document for more details: Azure users and user groups (perceptor-cloud.com)
Users are assigned to User Role Groups configured in the Web Management Console.
A user can only be a member of one User Role Group but a User Role Group can have a combination of roles.
